Dr. Deva Prather Veterinarian

Dr. Prather is originally from Orlando, Florida. She earned both her bachelor’s degree and her DVM from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation in 2003, she worked in emergency medicine for 2 years, before joining our team. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery, emergency care, and working with shelter and rescue pets.
She and her husband, Donny, live in Oakhurst with their three children, Connor, Nicholas, and Katherine, who all attend City Schools of Decatur. They also have two dogs, Ginger and Ashley, and one cat, Currie. In her free time, Dr. Prather enjoys spending time with her family, as well as yoga and reading.
